VRRelics

VRRelics(Originally Test416) is a hobby project I have been working on for roughly one month from August until September. My goal was to create a playable demo of a VR Project with photorealistic graphics whilst still running smoothly. This undertaking required a lot of optimization, thought and an overall understanding of UE4.
In the presented Level I played around with various mechanics and visual cues to signal the player what to do. The lighting is purposefully set up to highlight the center of the room while also pointing towards the goal and to the puzzle that has to be solved. With framing and lighting cues i tried to subconciously point the player forward.

the blocking stages of the level to get a rough understanding of the layout everything should be. natural and manmade geometry is colored differently.
